I founded Sherwood in 2014 in order to provide clients with a different kind of investment advisory experience…one without sketchy product commissions or pushy salespeople posing as financial experts. Instead, I focus on providing clients with clear, unbiased advice backed by over 15 years of study and practice in the field of personal finance.
Previously, I was an advisor at a multi-billion dollar wealth management firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, I spent several years working with clients at a boutique wealth management firm located a few minutes northwest of Denver. Before pursuing my passion for personal finance, I served as an officer in the United States Air Force.
Today, I live outside of Aspen, Colorado with my wife and our two young boys. When I’m not advising clients, you can usually find me hiking or skiing through the forests that surround the picturesque Roaring Fork Valley.
