Joshua Flanagan

Joshua joined Commonwealth Financial Group in 2019 as a Partner. Josh works with doctors, dentists, and nurses helping them plan for their financial future He also assists in developing and implementing business strategies for private medical practices.

Prior to joining CFG Josh was a Supervising Agent with American Income Life. In this role we was responsible for the training and development of Insurance Producers on his team. After three years in this role Josh decided to challenge himself to grow once again.

He accepted a role as an Assistant Vice President at Citizens Investment Services in Newton Centre. In this role he was a part of a top tier Wealth Management Team. Josh was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the firms affluent and high net worth clientele. It was here that he realized he wanted the autonomy to serve medical professionals in a customizable and holistic financial planning model.

Josh has also served 12 years with United States Army National Guard as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive Warfare Specialist and currently holds the rank of Staff Sergeant. He is currently a part of the 10th Mountain Warfare Division in Northfield, VT

Josh currently resides with his wife, Kirsten, and their dog, Arnold, at their home in Attleboro, MA. Josh enjoys golfing, reading, training for marathons and spending time with close friends and family.

Josh is involved with the Special Olympics MA and Project Hope: Boston through committee and volunteer work as well as fundraising.
