Mark Kempton is the Founder and Chief Executive of Kempton Accountancy, a California based accounting, business advisory, and tax planning firm serving business owners and their businesses. Mark began his professional career with KPMG Peat Marwick, an international public accounting firm, and rose to the rank of Partner, becoming a partner in charge of the Sacramento Accounting and Audit practice. Following his career in public accounting Mark working in the chain retail, restructuring, mortgage, real estate, and food industries as Chief Financial Officer and Division President. Since its founding ten years ago, Mark has served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Operation Project Hope. Blessed by three talented and successful daughters and five grandchildren Mark is also known as The Ballet Dad having sponsored two daughters in pursuit of their dreams of becoming members of nationally recognized ballet companies and competing in global talent competitions at Lincoln Center. Mark lives in Huntington Beach and is glad to be by the beach again after moving to Southern CA from Northern CA. Mark enjoys car racing and has recently become an F1 fanatic. He’s set his sights on watching an F-1 event at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, TX, Las Vegas, Miami and Monza, Italy the home of his favorite team Ferrari.
