Personal Bio

Welcome to Retirement Lifestyles Advisors where it’s all about having the health, wealth and freedom to live your dream retirement.

Starting out in financial services in 1999 I began my career working for my father in his insurance agency. After he retired I moved on to a large wealth management company where I quickly learned that the financial goals were more in line with the company than with the clients.

In 2010, I struck out on my own and founded McNally Wealth Management with the simple mission to provide transparent independent financial advice free from conflicts of interest such as hidden expenses and high commissions.

A year later I started hosting the Saturday morning radio show “Retirement Lifestyles with Patrick McNally” on News Talk 105.7 KQMS.

Our mission and our planning style became synonymous with the name Retirement Lifestyles, so we decided to change our firm name to match.

Over 13 years later we are the number one financial radio show in the North State.

When I’m not working on financial plans or hosting the radio show, you can find me traveling with my wife and two teenagers, doing CrossFit, hiking with my golden retriever Gunner, or spending as much time as possible on the golf course!

Dedicated to Your Retirement Lifestyle.

Income.

It’s the most important thing you need to plan for in retirement.

Most people want more income in retirement, or they worry about running out. So, I build investment plans that create a Predictable, Consistent and Safe retirement paycheck that can increase every year, no matter what the market does. Ultimately giving you peace of mind and the freedom to enjoy your dream retirement.

My name is Patrick McNally and I’m the Founder and CEO of Retirement Lifestyles Advisors, headquartered in beautiful Northern California.  My firm is a registered investment advisory firm that adheres to a fiduciary standard of care for all of our clients and specializes in retirement income planning.

But income planning is really more than just knowing your number or having “just enough” to get by. It’s about Peace of Mind.

It’s a way to feel comfortable about your retirement savings and about gaining the confidence to actually spend some of it and have some fun. Ultimately it’s about having an abundant retirement lifestyle.

I meet so many retirees and continually find that a large number of them are simply afraid to spend any money. It’s not surprising because most people never really consider the fact that they are literally giving up the paycheck they’ve had for the last 40 years! It can be daunting to say the least.

The truth is, the strategies for distributing your retirement income are very different from those you used to accumulate your life savings over the last 20, 30 or even 40 years. Understanding this difference is an important insight you’ll gain by working with me.

Throughout our working lifetimes we become concerned about saving money and building wealth. We become obsessed with market growth. Sometimes we focus on a term called ROI or Return on Investment.

But at retirement there’s another type of ROI that is even more important.

This ROI is Reliability of Income.

The reliability of our retirement income is something that all successful retirees focus on. We address the issue of having a predictable and reliable income that will last you throughout your retirement years.

I believe that most of us would agree these are fairly trying times. Pandemics aside, as Americans, there’s much that concerns us as we live our lives each day.

Many of us share concerns over an uncertain economy. Or about the stock markets which always seem to be volatile day in and day out.

Increasingly, there are worries over inflation, will the dollar keep up with the rising costs of everyday goods and services.

For a long time, I’ve been concerned about the high debt loads many families carry. Combined with a savings rate that is at or near an all-time low, many families have set themselves upon a dangerous financial course with little margin for error.

Challenges, of course, are nothing new to older Americans. They’ve taken on so many, and faced down every one of them.

If you are retired or getting close, you’ll enjoy walking down this journey to a retirement lifestyle of abundance and peace of mind.
