I am a career changer. I started my professional career at EY as an external auditor. I did accounting and finance consulting work for large companies. When I was looking for help with my own personal finances, most of the advisors I met were more concerned with the fee they would earn from managing my money than with giving me sound, objective advice. So I built the firm I wanted to hire: hourly, fee-only, and focused on advice.
