Scott Harmon

Spending three years in marketing following graduation from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a B.S. in Business Administration, I then returned to school to complete my major in accounting. Beginning in 1987 I began working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (Coopers & Lybrand legacy) where I began working in the tax practice. At the end of my five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers I was exclusively working on transactional tax planning for corporate clients. I left there to begin a career in corporate American as a Controller at a division of a publicly traded health care manufacturing company. After two years, I formed a partnership with a fellow PWC colleague to create HWI Corporation. HWI provides tax and accounting services to both entrepreneurial businesses as well individuals in need of personal tax compliance, audit representation, and tax planning.
